The Acai scam complaints have been continuously growing. As a result, various groups and celebrities, being used in these scams, stood up against these merchant sites. Visa shut many Acai merchant accounts (over 100, in fact) because they have been proven to trick customers into “forced continuity” sales.

The tactic that these free trial Acai products are being sold to people uses lies and false testimonials that is said to have come from some of the famous celebrities. This is just to convince people to sign up for the free trial products. These free trials will serve as the bait to get the credit card details of the client.

Acai products will then be queued as orders of these clients, even if they did not make the order. They will continuously receive products, which will also be continually charged to their credit card accounts. These continuous subscriptions are also hard to cancel or terminate once it has started.
